Marshawn Lynch Suspended?

Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch is expected to be suspended for the first four games of the NFL season due to continued run-ins with the long arm of the law. Under the league's new, stricter-than-in-the-past player discipline structure, repeat offenders will be punished simply for being repeat offenders.

In regards to Lynch, the rumor is that the long-awaited suspension will be made official tomorrow.

  1. I have no thoughts either way about Marshawn Lynch. Yawn.

Things that do interest me in football right now:

-Mark Sanchez. Trent Dilfer loves him, and Dilfer's the most money QB analyst out there, including Jaws. I'm leaning towards that too. He has a knack for throwing to a spot, not an open player, which is the reason why spread QB's fail. Sanchez' USC team wasn't nearly as talented as Leinhart's were. Mentally, Sanchez seems to be way tougher than Leinhart, with better field vision. He may not be a perennial Pro Bowler, but he'll be the best of this draft.

  2. FYI, Kiper's assessment of Barwin glows.

He rightly rates his instincts and durability as exceptional (1 out of 5, 1 being the highest), which says nothing of his 4.4-4.5 speed and his impressive strength and vertical jump.

If he were black, with that speed, vertical, instincts, and no injury history, you'd be calling him the next Ware. And I don't like white people.
